ELIZABETH (BETH) RIGGS (nee M. BERTHE CARRIERE) 1912 - 2005 On Thursday, December 1, 2005, Elizabeth (Beth) Riggs (formerly of St. Mary's Road) passed away. She was predeceased by her two daughters, Maureen Funk (1996) and Sonya Turman (1997); her parents Daniel and Maria Carriere (nee Beauchemin); and her 11 brothers and sisters. Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Sherry Turman, Vince (Cheryl) Turman, Jeff Turman (Norma Bittern), Dean (Nicole) Turman, Daniel Funk; and eight great-grandchildren. Special thanks to her niece Sylvia Wise for the constant care and devotion shown over many years. Thanks also to Tache Centre nurses and staff. Grandma will be remembered fondly for her wit, her independence and always being there for her children and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 5 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road, Winnipeg, MB.
