EDWARD JOSEPH FONTAINE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Fontaine (Eddy) with family by his side on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at the age of 73 years. Eddy leaves to cherish his memory his wife Victoria Fontaine; sons, Murray (Marion), Jamie, Chris G., stepsons, Charles (Daisy), Leslie, Chris L. (Anita), stepdaughters, Darlene (Robert), Judy (Claude), Eileen (Brian), Bev (Elden); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Howard (Alene); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George and Josephine; sisters, Margaret, Dorothy and Delarose; and brothers, Felix, Wilfred, Art and Norbert. Eddy had a deep love for children, as it showed in his care and concern for them. Eddy had a very big caring heart as he took in seven stepchildren. Eddy will be remembered for his great stories and the many jokes he told to everyone. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Pine Falls Hospital and the George M. Guimond Care Home. Thank you for caring for such a loving person. Wake services will begin on Friday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 5 at 3:00 p.m. Both services will take place at the St. Alexander Parish in Saakeeng, MB. Pallbearers will be Troy Fontaine, Norbert Fontaine, Chris Guimond, Art Boubaire Jr., Willis and Shawn Bruyere. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Laforte, Melissa Laforte and Jamie Laforte.
