She leaves behind her daughter Penrose McLeod Smith and her son Jason Truth Star. Interment was held at St. John's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
