MARY ELIZABETH (BETTY) CRAIG December 24, 1915 - November 29, 2005 Early Tuesday morning, November 29, 2005, Betty passed away at the Grace Hospital. She will be missed and remembered by her son Tom (Cathy); daughters, Judith (Glenn) Reynard, Charlotte; grandchildren, Melissa and Melanie Reynard, Tom and Lisa Craig, Tara (Scott) Rochester, Sasha (Greg) Carter and their father Lorne Bergner. Betty was predeceased by her husband Alan (1995). Betty was born in Pembroke, ON, and moved to Winnipeg in 1956. In earlier years, Betty enjoyed playing bridge, needlework, spending time at the camp, and annual shopping trips to the United States. For the past ten years, she has lived at the Westhaven where she continued to knit yellow and white afghans until she went to hospital on November 21, 2005. Betty will be missed for her humour, her candidness and her strong will. Funeral service was held on December 1 with interment at the Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
