ROBERT (BOB) MICHAEL BASARABA On November 30, 2005, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Bob Basaraba, aged 56 years, of Winnipeg, and formerly of Winnipeg Beach, MB. Bob was born on April 19, 1949, and lived his early years in Komarno. He made many friends over the years and always kept in touch with them. He enjoyed a good joke and Kariokee nights. Bob was predeceased by his parents Mike and Mary; sisters, Mavis and Natalie; and a brother-in-law Aubrey. He leaves surviving a brother Alex (Elsie); sister Joan Swaykoski (Ernie); brother-in-law Ivan Talaga; son Justin Campbell (Basaraba); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday December 4 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Interment at a later date at Winnipeg Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory can be made to the Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
