Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLIESELOTTE (LILO) WUNDERLICH July 28, 1917 - November 14, 2005 Peacefully on Monday, November 14th Lilo passed away at the Bullhead City General Hospital in Bullhead City, Arizona. She leaves to mourn her partner, Sam McKay of Bullhead City, AZ; her children, daughter Regina Roth (Dennis) of Hillside Beach, MB, her son Richard Wunderlich (Karin); her grand-children, Joe Roth (Kathy) of Winnipeg, MB, Vone Emerson (Robert) of Toronto, ON, Christine Wunderlich of New York, NY; and great-granddaughter Lilo Emerson (born October 18th, 2005) and extended family in California and Germany. Lilo was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada with husband Rudi and daughter Regina in 1950. When Rudi became ill in 1954, she was left with two children to raise alone. She worked for Northern Shoe Company and later Winnipeg Cold Storage. She also rented out parts of her home to make ends meet, making friends with many of her tenants. At 50, she immigrated with her son Rick to California to start her life over. She lived in Anahiem and worked for Kawasaki Motors until she retired in 1982. She had previously met Sam McKay and together they moved to Bullhead City, AZ. These, she said, were the happiest days of her life. We will always remember her devotion to her family, her drive to get ahead, her patience and understanding, her direct approach, and the lovely handiwork that she created for all of us. During the last 4 years of her life her health deteriorated and we were lucky to have excellent caregivers to look after her. Special thanks go to Helen Vroman and Eileen Schleiesman who were with her until the end. Funeral services were held on Nov. 19th, 2005 at Dimond Sons Silver Bell Chapel, Bullhead City, AZ.
