Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KARWACKI (nee CYHANCHUK) Surrounded by the love, comfort and gentle touch of her family, Mary, our beloved wife, mother and Baba, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2005, after a brief struggle with cancer, at the age of 79. Mary leaves to mourn those who already miss her dearly - Michael, her husband of 59 years; son Gary of Moreno Valley, CA, daughter Gail (Daryl) Sutton, son Wayne (Kris); grandchildren, Jodi and Krysten; mother Anne Cyhanchuk; sister Jenny (Bud) Jette of Minneapolis, MN as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by an infant daughter Cheryl Ann in 1947; her father Steve Cyhanchuk, and in-laws, Anne and John Karwacki. Mom devoted her time to loving and caring for her family and giving care and comfort to all she came in contact with. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends, and having a few good laughs at the family cottage at Bird River. Mom, we will miss you and will always remember and cherish the fun and happy memories together. Thank you for all you've taught us and we know you'll be watching over us. We love you! Mary's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at 1:00 p.m. in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church parking lot located on Ness Avenue. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave. Our family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful and supportive team from the WRHA Palliative Care Program, and to the homecare workers, both of whom enabled the family to grant Mary's wish to remain at home. The family would also like to thank their Guardian Angel Ann Foster, who helped us and Mom, through this most difficult time. Flowers are accepted, however, should friends desire, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the WRHA Palliative Care Fund at A8024 - 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6. If tears could build a stairway And memories a lane, We'd walk right up to heaven And bring you home again.
