Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE ELEANOR HOWELL (nee RING) It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our Mother, June Howell, on December 1, 2005 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the of 72 years. June was born March 12, 1933 in Brandon, MB to Lorne and Louisa. June's family was her pride and joy. Her hobbies included reading, knitting, crocheting, bowling, cooking and baking. June was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #3 Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband George and an infant daughter. June leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Wayne (Heather) of Stonewall, Dennis (Lorraine) of Winnipeg, Ron (Kim) of East Selkirk, Tim (Janice) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Michael, Andrew (April), Chris (Carrie), Danny, Darryl, Jennifer, Steven, Kerri, Kristyn, Ryan, and Devan and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Allen Ring of Brandon and sister Shirley (Garry) Lumbard of Kingsville, ON; special friends Gwen, Buelah and Polly of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of Unit 400 for their exceptional care and compassion. A special thank you to Gwen DeVos and niece Cathy Fast, who have been there for Mom day and night whenever needed. A memorial service will be held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 8-940 Princess Ave., Brandon, MB, R7A 0P6.
