ROBERT JOSEPH (JOE) TRIBULA Peacefully, after a long and difficult illness Joe passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 70. He is survived by his three children, Scott, Colin (Suzanne) and Jennifer (Don) and by his former wife, Verna. Grandchildren, Alyson, Matthew, Jonathon and Erin. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Antonia and his sister Elizabeth. Joe was born in Winnipeg on August 25, 1935 where he grew up and proudly served as a member of the Winnipeg Police Service for 28 years. He retired at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was proud of his Hungarian heritage and enjoyed gypsy and classical violin music. Joe was a great fan of sports and was involved with the Winnipeg Police Hockey league for many years. Special thanks to Dr. C. Lowden and the wonderful staff at the Riverview Health Centre, E3 Palliative Care Unit. If friends so desire, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
