Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • To Les' Family- I had not known your father for very long but became acquainted in the last few years through the Manitoba Golf Association Board. He was a tireless worker whose goal was to make the game he loved better for everyone. I vey much enjoyed working with him for the short time that I did. He will be sorely missed. You are "resting gentle on my mind." - Posted by: Bonnie Stephenson (Acquaintance) on: Dec 06, 2005

  • I've known Les since I was in grade school -- he went to Grant Park and was in Scouts with my brother, and worked, golfed, and played hockey with Les from the mid-70s until his retirement in 1997. Then several years on the Board of Directors of the Pianwa Club. He was committed to helping youth and improving his community -- we need more people like Les. Always a sense of humour, always a willing worker and helper. What a great guy, and he will be sadly missed. My sincere sympathies to Mark and Cindi. It's been a terrible year for you. - Posted by: Bruce Hedley (Friend) on: Dec 05, 2005
