JULIAN JENDRAS It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Julian on Saturday, December 3, 2005, at Fred Douglas Residence at the age of 88. Julian will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his daughter Kris, granddaughter Angela (Eric), great-granddaughter Megan, his brother Marian (Zofia) and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Thank you Marian and Zofia Jendras and family for your support. Thank you Tadeusz and Jozefa Jendras and family for always looking in on Dad and for the many family gatherings that he always looked forward to. Julian was predeceased by his wife Mary in September 2003, his brother Jozef and his sister Antonina. Julian was born on October 23rd, 1917 in Poland. During The Second World War he met his wife Mary, in Germany where he married and his daughter was born. In 1949, he immigrated to Canada and was joined by his wife and his daughter six months later. Prior to his retirement in the 1980's, Julian was employed at Allied Auto for many years. Julian was a man who worked hard all of his life and was completely devoted to his family. His great-granddaughter Megan was the joy of his life. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and his great sense of humor. The family wishes to thank the staff at Fred Douglas Residence for their support, care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 6 at 10:30 a.m. with viewing starting at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Cantius' Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Ave. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
