GORDON FRANCIS COUMONT It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gordon Francis Coumont of Selkirk, MB on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 53. Gordon was a wonderful husband, a devoted father and a lovable grandfather. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Marilyn; daughters, Diane (Eric) Trumbla and Pamela Coumont (Jason Kudlik); sister Linda (Clarence) Lefko; brother Gerald (Donna) Coumont; cousins, Gloria (Dick) Millward; grandchildren Quinton, Caitlin, James and Brayden, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Audrey and Francis Coumont. Gordon was born in Selkirk, MB on June 9, 1952 and worked at the Manitoba Rollings Mills for 32 years before retiring in May 2005. Gordon loved bike riding, snowmobiling with his daughters, watching sports and playing with his grandchildren. He was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan and was a season ticket holder for many years. The family would like to thank Dr. Speers and the rest of the doctors and staff at the Selkirk General Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Viewing from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. and cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gordon's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
