Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA NAZAR Peacefully on December 1, 2005 at the Pinawa Hospital, Eva passed away at the age of 82 years. Eva is survived by one son Alexander of Prawda, MB, two grandchildren, Sandra and Darryl (Kendra), both of Winnipeg and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alex; parents, Harry and Ann Marko; daughter-in-law Theresa Nazar; eight sisters and one brother. Eva was born December 26, 1922 in Prawda. She attended Birchville and Beauty Park School. Later she moved to Winnipeg where she worked for a few months. She then returned to Prawda and married Alex Nazar whom she had met earlier at school. They resided on the Nazar family farm where in that time they had one son Alexander (Sandy). Baba spent many years working hard on the farm. She was an excellent baker and especially enjoyed when family and friends visited. Her favourite pastimes included: going to bingo, the casino, crocheting, reading, playing rumoli with her grandchildren and staying up late watching television. After her husband Alex passed in 1991, she moved to Portage la Prairie, MB where she made many friends and frequently helped make perogies at the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Baba always made holidays special and the Christmas memories we shared with her and Gigi will never be forgotten. She will be sadly missed. Deep are the memories, precious they stay, no passing of time can take them away. Vichnaya Pam'yat The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at the Whitemouth District Health Centre for their wonderful care.
