After her children were born, she returned to work and later became an EKG technician at the Winnipeg General Hospital. She then worked for the Federal Government until her retirement. She had been an active and dedicated member of the Ivy Rebekah Lodge for many years. Catherine was a skilled seamstress, enjoyed curling and golf as long as her health permitted, and derived much pleasure from travelling and the cottage. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church at 3 St. Vital Rd. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens following a reception at the church. Many thanks to our Aunt Kay, niece Leslie Douglas, Harold's daughters, Leona Riske and Lila Goodspeed and their families for all their care and attention during the past few years. Appreciation is also extended to neighbours George and Mary Crayston, Sheila Mochoruk, and Doug and Jean Norris for their caring friendship.
