KATHLEEN (KAY) ANDERSON (nee FORD) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on December 5, 2005. Kay was born in Sturgeon Falls, ON on April 22, 1924. The eldest of six children, Kay attended Normal School in St. Norbert and taught in Manitoba and Ontario. Upon her retirement, she was working in Ottawa for the federal government. Kay enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and keeping up with the Ford news. Kay was predeceased by her husband Jack and her parents, Fred and Alma Ford. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Fred (Diane), Ken (Ginette); and daughter Deborah Gerrie (John). She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Ford, Florence Dandenault, Madeleine Hicks (Doug); and brothers, Fred (Polly) and Edward (Sue) as well as 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 10 at 3:30 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church in Powerview, MB with Rev. Fr. James Gray officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. The family would like to thank the ambulance attendants, hospital staff and home care workers who took such good care of our mother.
