ROBERT GRETCHEN February 5, 1958 - December 4, 2005 Suddenly on December 4, 2005, Bob passed away at the age of 47. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife Alicia and their children, Travis and Marissa, his mother Mary, sister Sally (Jeff), brother Dennis, in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Stanley and his grandparents. Bob started out in 1980 as a building contractor and expanded his business ventures in 1992 opening GRT Rentals. With Bob there was never an idle moment, he was always thinking of his next adventure. He had many interests including snowmobiling, hunting and especially his hobby farm. He was a member of the Interlake Snow Trackers and helped organize the Rally for Huntington Disease. Prayers will be said on Friday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Gimli with Fr. Harry Chuckry officiating. Viewing for one hour prior to service. Interment in the St. Basil's Cemetery, just west of Gimli. The family would like to thank the staff of Gimli Hospital for their compassion and support. Dad, you were taken from us so suddenly, we didn't have the time to tell you how much we loved you. We will miss you always. Love Travis and Missy.
