PETER GIESBRECHT November 1, 1925 - December 6, 2005 Peter died on December 6, 2005. He is survived by his wife Lillian and her family, his brothers, Henry and Nick, his sons, Michael, Glen and Garry and numerous grandchildren. Peter served in the Canadian Armed Forces, but spent the majority of his working life as a long haul driver. He was especially proud of his perfect driving record. When he was not working, travel was in his blood. He took great delight in holidaying to both Canadian coasts. He and Lillian enjoyed sharing their travel stories with friends and family. He was a person who had a deep religious faith and spent time as a member of the Salvation Army church. While he was in good health he found volunteering at the Christmas kettles to be especially fulfilling. Funeral services will be held at Beacon Hill Lodge, 190 Fort St. in the 2nd floor Sunroom at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12.
