GERTRUDE ROZIERE (nee DUHAMEL) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt on December 7, 2005 at the age of 92. Gertrude will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children and their families: Monique (Tony) Hepner, Gerald (Georgette), Guy (Annette), Claude (Agnes), Suzanne (Paul) Roziere-Marcoux, Michel (Colette), Marc (Lorraine) and Nicole (Brian) Dorge. Along with 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Marcien (Angelina) Duhamel and sisters-in-law, Henriette Duhamel, Simone Berger, Madeleine Lemire. She was predeceased by her husband Robert and granddaughter Marcella. She was born on September 1, 1913 in Ste. Anne and lived in Ross till 1978 prior to moving to Lorette and St. Boniface. The family would like to express their sincerest thank you to all the wonderful staff of the St. Boniface Hospital Family Medicine 6A who took great care of our mother and grandmother. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10 in the St. Boniface Cathedral. Viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
