Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN ARTHUR MYROLD Passed away December 5, 2005 at Grace Hospital. He was born July 2, 1920 in Winnipeg. He attended Greenway, General Wolfe and Daniel McIntyre Schools. He was a mechanic with the RCAF in Portage la Prairie until the war ended, and then worked with the Department of National Defence in Winnipeg until his retirement in 1985. He married Muriel Mutch in 1962 and they had many interesting years travelling in Britain and Europe. He enjoyed the Scandinavian Club (Norwegian), sang in the choir, and put on great skits at Folklorama. He also loved going to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. He leaves to mourn his passing his sister Clara Smith in Penticton, BC, his niece Ruth Larrigan (Dave) in Richmond, BC, his nephew Carl Smith (Velma) in Calgary, AB and great-nieces and nephews, Coleen Auld (Jonathon), Ian Zapfe-Smith (Janice), Darrell Smith, David Zapfe-Smith and Jeremy Auld. Donations may be made in memory of Arthur to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 600 Minto St., Winnipeg or a charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held January 6, 2006 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
