BLUMA NAIMAN After a short illness Bluma Naiman passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital November 26, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Saul and her son Morton. She is survived by her son Dr. Harold Naiman, daughter-in-law Carol Naiman and grandchildren, Danielle, Shaun and Brittany all of Las Vegas. Bluma was born in 1911 in Ostrolenka and immigrated to Canada at age 17. She was a co-provider for the family working in the clothing business. She was keenly devoted to her family and took great pride in her family and especially her three grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the Chesed Shel Emes Chapel with interment at the Sharey Zedek Cemetery. Rabbi Peretz Weitzman officiated. Active pallbearers were Cy Fien, Joe Krolik, Dr. David Meyerowitz, Dr. Frank Short, Dr. Neil Swirsky and Gary Wolodarsky. Bluma is Yiddish for flower and she was truly a beautiful flower inside and out. Her smile was infectious and she quickly became a favourite with the nurses and staff at the Sharon Home. The family is grateful for the love and care provided to her there. Gratitude is expressed to Dr. Neil Swirsky and Elaine Swirsky for all their assistance over the years. It was a great comfort to the family at a distance of thousands of kilometres that help was a just phone call away! .... here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart, I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart). We love you and miss you BOBA.
