Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILIAN CORRIGAN April 27, 1920 - December 5, 1995 Peacefully on December 5, 2005, Lilian Corrigan passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Lil was predeceased by her loving brothers, Larry and Norman. Mom will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years Ken; her sons, Robert and Brent (Anita); her grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Kieran and Brendan, Mackenzie and Michael; and her nephew Larry Hicks of Oshawa, ON. Mom was raised in Weston and attended Cecil Rhodes School. She met Dad after the war in 1949 and they married in 1951. Mom worked for Eatons in its mail order department prior to her wedding but chose to remain at home with her sons after their birth. She lived most of her life in the North End and remained close to her roots throughout her life. Mom was a quiet person whose life revolved around her family. For many years she enjoyed bowling with Dad at Polo Park Lanes. In recent years, she most enjoyed spending time at home or watching her grandchildren playing their many sports. Grandma could often be found outside on a summer day watching one of her grandchildren play soccer. Mom also enjoyed supporting the Blue Bombers where she and Dad have held season tickets for many years. The family would like to thank Dr. N. Finlayson and the staff of Unit 5 for their loving care of Mom during her three month stay in hospital. As to her wishes, Mom has been cremated and a family inurnment took place on Friday, December 9 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. You will be loved forever. Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main St. 338-7111
