Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNATALIE GREENWOOD (nee HEMMINGER) Peacefully, in the presence of her daughters, Natalie Greenwood passed away on December 9, 2005 at the Beausejour Hospital. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, Richard, Brenda (Lawrence) Klapprat, Garry (Carmen) and Margo (Alf) Witzke; grandchildren, Pam (Bob) Selch, Gail (Rob) Pickering, Sandy (Jarrett) Powers, Allan (Michele) Greenwood, Christopher (Melissa) Greenwood, Jason (Nicole) Taylor, Krista (Darin) Semenchuk, Tom Greenwood (Nikki), Colleen Greenwood (Bill) and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Eric (Wanda), Adolf (Selma) and sister Helen Freund. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Richard, her parents Adolf and Karoline Hemminger, brothers John, Christian, Louie and sister Mary and infant grand daughter Angela. Nettie was born on November 13, 1919 in Thalberg, MB. She married Thomas (Dick) Greenwood in 1939. Throughout their marriage they lived in Thalberg, Beaconia, Portage la Prairie and finally Beausejour. Mom as strong believer in the Lord and sang in the Thalberg Lutheran and Zion Lutheran Church choirs. She loved traveling, music, dancing, reading, crossword puzzles and watching her stories. The grandchildren have many fond memories of Grandma (Nonnie). She loved and spoke with pride of each and every one of them. Each visit to Grandma's (Nonnie's) would usually result in a treat, whether it be candy, money or a small gift. Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Beausejour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Box 968, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
