MINNIE (WILHELMINE) SCHINDEL (nee FOLLACK) Peacefully, at the Concordia Hospital on Saturday, December 10, 2005, Minnie passed into the arms of her lord and saviour and was reunited with the love of her life, Adolf. Mom is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Dave and Marlene Kerr, her grandchildren, David (Jennifer), Derrick (Mandi) and Darren, her great-grandchildren, Calli and Alexis. Surviving also are her siblings, Tillie, Rose (Carl), Elsie. Her beloved sister-in-law Marjorie, sister-in-law Frieda, brothers-in-law, Bill (Margaret), Rudolf (Lora), Fred (Anne), sister-in-law Pauline. She was predeceased by her loving husband Adolf (whom she missed so terribly), father Rudolf Follack, mother Helene Follack, stepfather Herman Fuhl, mother-in-law Olga Schindel, beloved brothers, Bill, Ed, sister Lilly and brother-in-law Leonard. Mom and Dad were married November 10, 1935 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Friedensfeld, MB. They farmed there for a number of years and then moved to Green Bay, MB and finally moved to Winnipeg in 1951. Mom and Dad shared a long and loving life together. Together with the lord by their side they raised their only daughter Marlene and later welcomed their son-in-law Dave into their hearts. With the lord by their side they overcame many challenges and trials. Mom's greatest pastime was her gardening. Her garden and flowers received tender loving care, as did her family. Mom and Dad spent many years camping and fishing together. Mom and Dad always missed farming, and for many years were found at Uncle Bill and Auntie Margaret's farm, helping in any way they could. A very special thanks to our Dr. G. Welch for his kindness and the nurses on the 3rd floor of Concordia Hospital. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Greenbay, with Pastor Mark Koenker officiating. Interment to follow after service at Greenbay Cemetery. Viewing on Tuesday, December 13 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. and at the church prior to service. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, David, Derrick and Darren Kerr, her nephews, Glen Fuhl, Gordon Rosentreter and Richard Schindel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mom's memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Greenbay, MB.
