ALLAN WILLIAM NOWOSAD July 22, 1946 - December 8, 2005 Suddenly, on December 8, 2005, Allan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, passed away, at the age of 59. Allan will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverly, of 38 years; son Mark (Tina) and granddaughter Maddy; daughter Kathy (Matthew Penner) and grandchildren, Michael and Sara; mother Mary Nowosad; sisters, Stella (Robert Kubic) and Nadia (Norman Sitka); mother-in-law Katherine Lindsay; as well as four nieces and one nephew. His grandparents and father predeceased him. Allan was born and raised in Selkirk, MB. Over the years he worked at various occupations, retiring from the City of Winnipeg, Police Services. He was a longtime member of St. Theresa's Parish as well as an active member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 9425. Cremation has taken place. Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St., West St. Paul, MB, with Rev. Msgr. Louis J. McCloskey as celebrant. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan's memory, to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 300-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 4H8.
