CAROLINE CORDA Peacefully, after a sudden illness, Caroline left to be with her Lord on December 8, 2005. Born in Ladywood, MB on August 1, 1917, Caroline was predeceased by her husband John in 1985 and by her daughter Margaret in 2004. She is survived by her son John; and by her daughters, Marilyn (Darryl) McHardy, Laurie (Eon) Evelyn, Elizabeth (John) Ford and Clare (Ron) Wiebe; by son-in-law Allan Manning and by seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Frank Urban; and sister-in-laws, Josie Urbanski, Madeline Urbanski and Mona Korda. Caroline, a loving and caring mother, raised her family on a farm near Warren, MB. Caroline and husband John, moved to Stonewall in 1979, where she lived until 2001. She then moved to St. Norbert Personal Care Home. Funeral mass will be at Christ the King Church in Stonewall at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13. Interment to follow at Stonewall Cemetery. Viewing will be in the church at 12:30 p.m. Carolyn's family would like to thank the staff at St. Norbert Personal Care Home, in particular Chooi and Joanne for the friendship and care they gave Mom during the past four and one half years.
