GERRIE ROBERT LUNDALE August 5, 1954 - December 6, 2005 It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the family announces the accidental passing of Gerrie Robert Lundale at the age of 51 years. Gerrie was predeceased by his father Robert; his beloved pet K.C.; his grandparents, Allan Longmuir, Jean and Sam Lundale; his aunt Gladys Forsyth; cousins Linden, Brandon and Matthew. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother Pauline; his closest companions his pets, Tasha and Mr. Perkins; his siblings, Bryan (Corrine), Valerie (Bob), Keith (Debbie), Laurie, Leslie; and his grandmother Marie Longmuir. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, Mishel (Guy), Jennifer (Ryan), goddaughter Stephanie, Elizabeth, Krystin (Evan), Kyle and Lindsay; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Special mention to Gerrie's closest friends, Armin, Donna, Dana Bernauer, Murray Odaisky, Jim Brown, Ed and Inis Melnick, Cynthia Porteous, Brad, Ernie, Tim and his many friends at the Brunkhild Bar and Grill. Gerrie was born on August 5, 1954, in Swift Current, SK. Gerrie's journey through life included many years spent on the DEW Line, and over the past several years, working towards his Level IV Power Engineer. Gerrie was applying his trade working at the Parmalat in Grunthal at the time of his passing. His many passions and interests included entertaining with friends over a good meal, barbecues with briquettes only, please , Bomber games with his buddies, the country-way-of-life and enjoying time spent with friends and family. There was never a bad time for a debate. A celebration of Gerrie's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13 at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre with Melanie Kauppila officiating. Service will conclude at the Hall with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerrie's honor to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or to Easter Seals Manitoba, 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5.
