ANNE MARIE LAPOINTE (nee BELLEC) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at the St. Claude Hospital. Anne Marie was predeceased by her husband Jos (Dec 11, 1989) and infant son (1941); parents: Louis (1943) and Francoise (1969) (Collias) Bellec; brothers: Marcel (1988), Eugene (1995), Albert (1976), Francois (1988), Henri (1998) and two infant brothers; sisters: Armelle Encontre (1981), Yvonne Bernard (1979) and Adele Jacques (1985). Anne Marie will be lovingly remembered by her niece Denise and Robert deRocquigny and family; sisters-in-law: Blanche, Adele, Irene Bellec, Freida McDonald, Caroline Deforel; Agnes and Charlie Rose; brother-in-law Armand Jacques and many nieces and nephews. Anne Marie was born on April 23, 1916 in St. Claude, MB. where she spent most of her adult life. Anne Marie lived a full and active life working for various people. She worked at the store for many years. Her favourite pastimes included crocheting, knitting and bird-watching. In the past years many curlers wore her handmade knitted sweaters. Her handmade knitted or crochet pieces are enjoyed by many. Bingo was her passion and she never said no to casino trips. Being the last living family member, we, the nieces and nephews would like to thank her for wisdom of family history. The family wishes to express their special thanks to the St. Claude Palliative Care for their love and compassion. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Celestin Malengu Mubaya officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Claude Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the St. Claude Palliative Care or a charity of choice.
