ROSAIRE CARRIERE Apres une longue maladie, Rosaire nous a quittes paisiblement le 10 decembre 2005 a l'age de 82 ans. Il va nous manquer enormement et son passage parmi nous sera grave a tout jamais dans notre memoire. Il laisse dans le deuil son epouse Irene (nee Lapointe) et de nombreux parents et amis. Rosaire will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by Irene, his wife of 56 years; one daughter: Colette (Rene) and four sons: Hubert (Brenda), Gilles (Therese), Ronald (Lorie), Richard (Tracy); two brothers: Oswald (Lucille) and Bernard (Jeannine); brother-in-law Andre Bernardin and sister-in-law Therese Carriere. He will especially be missed by his grandchildren Daniel, Eric, Michel, Andre, Jordan, Jeremy, Mathew and Ryan. Rosaire was predeceased by his parents Daniel Alexis and Laura (nee Robidoux), his brothers and sisters-in-law Armand (Jeanne), Florio, Edouard, Albert (Irene), Lionel, and sisters Gertrude and Lillian. La vie de Rosaire a ete centre sur sa famille. Il ne manquait jamais une occasion de celebrer les accomplissements de ses enfants et petits-enfants. Chaque rencontre de famille etait une fete et Rosaire etait comble lorsqu'entoure de ses proches. Apres avoir travaille sur la ferme durant sa jeunesse, Rosaire s'est installe au village de Saint-Pierre-Jolys. Il a ete tailleur a l'atelier de couture Monarch Wear et a la fermeture de l'usine, il a travaille pour Novak Sportswear. Rosaire would always strive to make every family gathering a celebration. His thoughtfullness and his affection will forever be remembered by all who knew him. His life was dedicated to helping his family and his eyes lit up every time one of his relatives came to visit. He filled all of our lives with love and we are all that much richer for having known him. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14 at 11 :00 a.m. at the St. Pierre-Jolys parish church. Viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
