LILLIAN MCKAY (nee LOCKHART) It is with deep sorrow and sadness the family announces the passing of Lillian on December 11, 2005, at the age of 96. Lillian was born in St. Norbert, July 20, 1909, and raised in the Balmoral area. She worked at the Stonewall Hospital in the laundry room for many years. She moved to Grand Rapids, MB, and worked there babysitting and where she met many new friends. She is survived by her five daughters and three sons, Dorothy Slater, Kay (Roy) Raflant, Shirley (Cecil) Payne, Myrtle Boyko, June Fenton; sons, Maurice (Sophie), Ray (Loreen), Stuart (Marilyn); daughters-in-law, Myrna Lockhart and Irene Lockhart. She is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Dave (1965), second husband Herb (1981); her sons, Gordon (1974), Stan (2002); her daughter Edna (1992); grandsons, Leslie (1988), Gordon (1997); sons-in-law, Bill Cahill (1973), Ed Salter (2005). Pallbearers will be her grandsons Charles Payne, Jim Lockhart, Bryan Lockhart, Greg Raflant, Gary Slater and Douglas Lockhart. A service of remembrance will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Rd. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
