Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY EDWARD REGULA It is with great sadness that the family of Stanley Edward Regula announces his sudden passing on Friday, December 9, 2005, at his home in Cloverleaf, MB, at the age of 63. Stanley (Shorty) will be greatly missed by his brother Henry; sister Jean Fedak; sister and brother-in-law Josie and Steve Bahry, sister-in-law Nina Regula; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father John in 1976; his mother Mary in 1980; his brother Tom in 2005; and his brother-in-law Andy in 1991. He was born August 28, 1942, in Cloverleaf. Here he attended school and took an active part in the community, enjoying baseball and bowling. He and his brother Henry took over the family farm in 1966; running first a dairy then a beef operation, and growing grain crops. Stanley was a country man. He loved the land and the animals, both tame and wild, that lived on his farm. No stray was ever turned away. He was connected with nature and knew intimately the cycles of plants, animals, and the seasons. He was a caring person with a generous nature - always willing to lend a hand or help a neighbour in need. Above all, Stanley was a family man who valued his close relationship with his brothers and sisters. He was an ideal uncle - a friend as well as an elder and teacher to his nieces and nephews. There were always a couple of kids tagging along on early morning hay rides to the pasture or helping to milk cows and he was tolerant and patient with them. Family and friends remember many evenings laughing and joking around the kitchen table, heated political debates and boisterous crib competitions. These are memories we will cherish. Farewell until we meet again. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Beausejour Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0, or a charity of one's choice.
