Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE CELINA MICHON Peacefully, on December 13, 2005, our beloved mother Irene C. Michon, aged 88 years, passed away at the Foyer Valade. She was predeceased by her dear husband Maurice Michon in 1989. Mom is survived by her daughter Paulette (John) Houghton; and her son Marcel (Sandy); three grandchildren, Suzy, Jamie and Mandy and one great-grandchild; and her two sisters, Alice and Flo. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the caring nurses and staff on the 3rd floor of Foyer Valade. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Viewing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Cathedral. Interment to follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. The reception will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel following the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9, or the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, Suite 302, 171 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4. Paulette, Eileen and I have never met your family, but having just lost our mother we certainly know what you are going through. Please give our best to your brother, Marcel, and all the other members of your family in our neighbor to the north.
