JOCELYNE LOUISE MARIE HART (nee LAFRENIERE) It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jocelyne, on Sunday, December 11, 2005, with her family and friends at her bedside at the Beausejour District Hospital. Jocelyne will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Alfred; son Duane; daughters, Stacy Banman (Jason) and Jennifer; grandson Gavin Banman; sister Diane Wilde (George); brother Arthur Lafreniere (Mary); sister-in-law Thelma Lafreniere and all of their families; brothers-in-law, Ron (Barb) and Ralph (Eleanor); sisters-in-law, Audrey Dysart (Garnet Workman), Frances Ross (George) and Sharon Lindsey (Doug); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Patsy and Louie Lafreniere; twin brothers, Paul and Donald Lafreniere; in-laws, Alfred and Mordina Hart; and brother-in-law Irvin. On December 5, 1953, Jocelyne was born in Notre Dame De Lourdes, MB, and raised in Somerset, MB. Her family moved to Wabowden, MB, in December 1970. Jocelyne attended Frontier Collegiate in Cranberry Portage, MB. There she finished the remainder of her high school education. It was also there that she met Aflred. Jocelyne and Alfred married in Norway House on October 28, 1972. There they started a family, as well, Jocelyne began her long career with the Federal Government. Jocelyne then moved to Oakbank, MB, and six years later, she moved to the Anola area where she resided until her death. Jocelyne enjoyed a lot in life. Trips to the cottage at Ottermere, curling, playing darts, knitting afghans for the annual poker derby at the lake. She also enjoyed company for dinner where she would cook up a storm. Many good times were had at the dining room table. Her biggest joy was the Sunday dinner with her family and the occasional guests. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church in Anola, MB, on Friday, December 16 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. David Brabant presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held prior to Mass. A private family ash interment will take place at a later date. Our family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Health Canada for all their help and compassion, especially Laurie and Diana; to the doctors and nurses at the Beausejour District Hospital for their special care. Thank you again, Debbie; to Dawn for driving Jocelyne to all her appointments, but mainly for being there at a time of need; to Lois Harper for all her help and compassion and to all our friends who cared. Thank you to Keith and Crystal Painter for everything they did and are still doing; to George and Gray for all your support and our sincere apologies if we have forgotten anyone. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jocelyne's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Jocelyne's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
