CLIFFORD ERNEST MCFARLANE On Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Clifford McFarlane, aged 81 passed away. Cliff is survived by his two sons and three daughters - son Vernon (Norma) McFarlane and their sons Michael (Sherry) and Brian (Nicole); daughter Karen McFarlane (Marcel Robert) and family Teresa (Peter) Sluzer, Shane Clark and Glen (Tina) Clark; daughter Cheryl (Brian) Wood and their son Jason; daughter Wendy (Frank) August and their family Christopher, Nicolas and Jenna; son Allan (Pat) McFarlane and their daughters Rene (Steve) and Lyndsy. He will also be missed by his five great-grandchildren Megan and Jessica Sluzer, Corey and Kayne Clark and Matthew McFarlane. He is also survived by one brother Lyle (Buck) McFarlane of Killarney, six sisters-in-law and five brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his wife Mary in 2001, brothers Clarence, Wilbert, James, and sister Laura. Dad worked for Carman Creamery for many years, first by picking up cream at farms and then as a buttermaker for which he won numerous awards. Later he worked for Modern Dairies delivering dairy products to stores and then he took over as the manager of the Carman location until health problems forced him to retire in 1980. Funeral services will be held at the Carman Pentecostal Church on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Braun officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Viewing will be held from Doyle's Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.
