ROBERTA VIOLET CROALL (nee ROBERTON) 1916 - 2005 On Tuesday, December 13, 2005, Roberta Croall, at the Golden Door Personal Care Home, passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Roberta, born on September 19, 1916, was the fourth child of John Stanley and Gertrude Roberton. On September 7, 1940, she married John Alexander Croall of Winnipeg who predeceased her on February 16, 1986. As well as her parents, Roberta was also predeceased by her sisters, Gertrude Moore, Lillian Wallace, Marjorie Egan, Doris Harris; and special friend Fred Cooke. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Lorrie Pismenny, Stan (Fay) Croall of Winnipeg and Joanne (George) Andrusiak of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Bruce (Jean Ann) Roberton; and brother-in-law Nick Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews. Roberta devoted her life to her family, and she will be greatly missed. The family wishes to express their gratitude and thanks to the caring staff at Golden Door where mother resided the past seven and one-half years. According to her wishes cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
