Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH WILLIAM DE VISSER On December 13, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, our beloved husband, son and brother, Kenneth De Visser, passed away at the age of 53 years. Ken leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his wife Cheryl De Visser (nee Reimann), his parents, Harry and Olga De Visser, brothers Ronald De Visser and Harvey De Visser (Cheryl Bemmer); nephew Tyson and niece Brianna De Visser; father-in-law Fred Reimann, sister-in-law Christine Hay, and many, many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was predeceased by his grandparents, Andrew and Pauline Kuzma and Harry De Visser Sr. and Laura De Visser; his mother-in-law Corraine Reimann and his uncles, Jack De Visser, Bob De Visser and Bill Kuzma. Ken was born and raised in Springfield, Manitoba, attending school in Oakbank. After completing his education, Ken was employed at various jobs. He had many hobbies, which included fishing and coin collecting. An avid sports fan, Ken loved watching his hockey, football and baseball games. Ken always enjoyed time spent at the cottage at Dorothy Lake in the Whiteshell with the family and especially, his beloved wife Cheryl. Ken had also spent many hours volunteering at the Health Sciences Centre, for which he was awarded public recognition by the hospital. Funeral service to be held on Monday, December 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Mark Scott officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot, Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, December 18 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. also at the chapel. A golden heart stopped beating, Two hard working hands laid to rest Love, Your Family Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
