Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES DROZDA Peacefully, at his residence, James Drozda, our dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the age of 63. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marie; daughter Jacqueline (Mike) Bradford and grandchildren, Nicole, Rachael, Teddy and Alexander; son Richard (Lynne) and grandchildren, Ian and Leanna; sister Marjorie (Alex); brothers, Steve and Edward (Jenny); mother-in-law Anne; brothers-in-law, John (Ivy) and Ronald (Lorrene); sisters-in-law, Cecelia (David) and Hanna (Russell): numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his longtime friend and companion Digger. Jim was born in Olha, MB on November 12, 1942. He was raised and attended school in the Oakburn area. While in high school he met Marie, the love of his life and they were married on October 9, 1965. Jim was employed by Westeel for 42 years. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Anne and Frank; his brother Peter; and father-in-law Michael Bucklaschuk. Jim was an avid fisherman, hunter and snowmobiler. He spent most of his spare time building and flying R/C airplanes. He greatly enjoyed playing Ukrainian music on his violin. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. We will all miss you Dido. Viewing: Sunday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. with prayers to follow at 8:00 p.m. Funeral service: Monday, December 19 at 10:00 a.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
