Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE LAVALLEE On Friday, December 16, 2005, with her family at her side, Marie Lavallee of Selkirk, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital. Survived by her children and grandchildren; Frank Lavallee of Selkirk, Shirley Lavallee of Selkirk (Patty, Shelley); Doris (Larry) Gaulton of Selkirk (Scott, Shane, Jonathon); John Lavallee of Selkirk; Violet (Alvin) Allain of Winnipeg (Amber, Tania, Jared, Aressa). One brother Leo Peloquin of Lundar and sister Agathe Chartrand. also special friend Larry Fidler. There are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Leon Lavallee and son George Lavallee. Marie was born April 17, 1934 at St. Boniface, MB. She was raised in St. Laurent and married Leon Lavallee when she was 18 years old. they moved to Teulon and raised their family there. Marie then moved to Selkirk in March 1988 and remained there until her passing. She will be remembered as a very outgoing and friendly person. The family would like to thank the homecare workers, the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk General Hospital and the St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Prayers will be held Wednesday, December 21 at 10:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Lavallee, John Lavallee, Larry Gaulton, Scott Gaulton, Shane Gaulton, Alvin Allain. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall in care of arrangements.
