Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTOR BARTMAN Suddenly, at his residence on Friday, December 16, 2005, Victor Bartman, aged 61 years of Gimli, MB. He leaves surviving his brother and sisters, Kathy (Joe) Boros, Edward (Vickie), Adeline Kyweriga, Rose (Ron) Wach, Barbara (David) Pomarenski and Elizabeth (Lawrence) Hokanson; his sister-in-law and best friend, Jean Bartman, her daughter Deborah (Randy) and granddaughter Ashley (Rick) Miller; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Teenie, brother John, nephew Robert Bartman and a daughter in infancy. Victor was born on June 16, 1944 in Fraserwood, MB. He was raised in Fraserwood, attended school in Gimli and worked for the Highways Dept as a surveyor for many years. Vic moved to Alberta in 1987 to be with his brother John (Jean) and moved back to Gimli in 2000. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, especially with his brother-in-law David and the great outdoors. Vic had many friends and enjoyed time spent with family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place in the summer with date to be announced prior to.
