WILLIAM CHUBEY It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William Chubey of Arbakka at the age of 82 years on Saturday, December 17, 2005 at the Vita District Hospital. William was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann, parents Harry Paraska Chubey, brothers Steve, Mike, Henry and sisters Ann, Mary, Katarina and three brothers in infancy. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters Therese (Robert) Chubaty of Stuartburn, Sherry (Leonard) Lazaruk of Lorette, and one son Dale (Jackie) of Lorette; eight grandchildren; Shane (Angie), Tracy (Demitris), Chad (Chantelle) Chubaty, Kim, Craig, Lance Lazaruk, Shannon (Trent) and Ashley Chubey; two great grandchildren, Alycia and Stephen Chubaty as well as two sisters Nettie (Nick) Boychuk of Sundown and Helen (John) Hirschfield of Steinbach and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be held Tuesday, December 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21 at 10:30 A.M. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery of St. Peter Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Arbakka with Rev. Father Myron Pozniak officiating. The family would like to thank all the staff at Vita District Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care that was given to our Father. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in William's name to Vita District Health Foundation for the Family Palliative Care Room , Box 160, Vita, MB R0A 2K0.
