LORNE TORACK It is with great regret that we announce the passing away of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on December 15, 2005, at the Riverview Health Centre. Lorne was born August 14, 1914, in Winnipeg. In 1937 Lorne married Stella and they had one daughter Geraldine. Lorne worked for the Municipal Hospital for 40 years. Lorne will be sadly missed by his wife of 68 years, Stella; daughter Geraldine (Marcos) Duran; grandchildren, Luisa (Rene), Marcos (Paola); and great-grandson Maximiliano, all of Mexico City; as well as many special nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends in Winnipeg and those in Mexico City. Lorne was predeceased by his parents and his brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Monty presiding. A brief reception immediately following. Interment will take place following the reception at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined; donations can be made to one's charity of choice.
