CHARLOTTE LOUISE MAKSYMIC Peacefully on December 16, 2005 at Boundry Trails Health Centre in Morden, MB after a long courageous battle, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother. Mom was born in Neepawa, MB on April 21, 1940. She was born to William and Millicent Johnson, where she joined her siblings Ellen, Grace, Margaret, Joyce, Phyllis and one brother John. Mom married the love of her life Michael Maksymic in Winnipeg, MB on October 12, 1960. Together they had four boys, Dave (Barb) of Winnipeg, Darrel (Nova) of Alberta, Dale (Teresa) of Morden and Darren of Brandon. The centre of her world were her grand-children, Gordon Unger, Darrell and Matthew Maksymic, Jennifer, Dylan, Kayla, Alaura Maksymic and Katrina. She played an active role in all their lives and activities. Mom loved life and lived it to the fullest, where she enjoyed playing Bingo, going on picnics, knitting, playing cards, listening to her two boys play guitar and sing and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Mom also had numerous nieces, nephews and very close friends. Mom was predeceased by her dad William, husband Michael, sister Phyllis, brother John and her son Donald. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at the United Church, Neepawa, MB at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Austin officiating. Interment at Neepawa Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Dear Mom, We love you and we'll miss you, our world will never be the same. Thanks for showing us the way. We'll never forget you.
