JEANNE MARIE JOSEPHINE JANIER It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Jeanne Janier, aged 93 years, on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Charleswood Care Centre. Jeanne will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Albert (Joyce) of Winnipeg and Claude (Heather) and their children, Nicole and Danielle all of Regina, SK; sister Cecile (Joe) Rey of St. Claude, MB; special niece May Lee Irvine who spent much quality time with mom; and many other special relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Aime; brothers, Louis, Henri, Albert, Georges and Joseph; sister Lucie. Jeanne was born October 16, 1912 in the municipality of Grey, near Haywood, MB. Mom left the farm when she was 21 and moved to Winnipeg. She started work in a sewing factory and later met Aime whom she married July 31, 1939. Jeanne was blessed with a full life and enjoyed her many activities. She loved crocheting, playing cards, bingo, bowling, dancing and time spent with her family and friends. Her two sons, Albert and Claude, sincerely thank the extended family, neighbours and friends who, over the years, shared in Jeanne's joys and sorrows and offered their friendship and support, all being fortunate to have crossed paths. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of the Charleswood Care Centre who capably and lovingly shared in her care. Always remembered will be Krista, Roswell, Cindy, Peter and Maggie whose care, compassion and friendship further enriched mom's life. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St., with Rev. Kenn Garrity officiating. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the CNIB, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
