ROBERT (BOB) REINHARDT April 1, 1923 - December 17, 2005 Bob passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital with all of his family at his side. Bob leaves his wife of 56 years, Doreen; daughter Deb (Brent); sons, Chris, Ross (Betti); and one and only grandchild Brittany. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who meant the world to him. Bob was predeceased by his mom and dad; and three sisters, Muriel, Elsie and Marguerite. Bob grew up in the North End and completed all of his schooling there. After school he spent a short time working for John Erizinger then joined the RCAF when the war broke out. Bob spent four years serving his country. On his return from the war, he was employed by the Manitoba Telephone System where he enjoyed 39 very happy and successful years, retiring in 1984. His greatest love, next to his family, was his cottage at Ingolf, ON. He couldn't get enough of it. He loved swimming, water skiing and teaching the kids all these things until they could do it better than him. Bob also loved spending time in his workshop, tinkering with odds and ends and repairing anything that had broken. His workshop acted as a one-stop shop for anyone looking for a part to finish a job. Bob loved to dance and as a young man was an avid roller skater. He was a great joke and storyteller and would love to get together with friends for a card game, a good drink and many laughs. My life on earth is truly past I've loved you all to the very last Weep not for me, but courage take and love one another for my sake Love Dad A service will be held Wednesday, December 21 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ingolf Campers Association, Ingolf, ON P0Y 1A0, or a charity of your choice.
