EILEEN CAROL HERNER (nee OSOWSKI) Peacefully on December 17, 2005, Eileen passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 56 years. Eileen is survived by her loving husband Jim; daughters, Tami (Paul) and Kim (George); grandchildren, Rayne, Stormi and Brianna; mother Annie; brother Jim and other close relatives. She was predeceased by her father Joseph. Eileen was born on March 4, 1949 and was raised in Riverton, MB. Family was very important to her and she was also a life-member of Gen. Sir Sam Steele Legion Branch No. 117. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, also to Dr. R. Wong and Kathy Kyryluk of CancerCare Manitoba (St. Boniface Unit). Visitation will be held on Friday, December 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Mountain and Andrews with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Diosdado Parrenas as celebrant. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined; donations may be made in Eileen's memory to St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation (Palliative Care Endowment Fund), 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
