ROBERT PHILIP CHUHIE May 20, 1979 - December 17, 2005 It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Robert Chuhie, son of Louise Gagne-Chuhie and the late Fred Chuhie, brother to Daniel (Lisa) and nephew/godson, Nicholas, and Pamela (Darrin) Nemec. He was predeceased by his grandparents Peter and Mary Chuhie of Libau and Philippe and Bertha Gagne of Fort Frances, ON. Uncle Robby showed an abundance of love for Nicholas and he will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. He last worked at Trimac in Winnipeg where he was a wash-rack technician. Robby had a great love for the outdoors where he enjoyed quadding, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, tinkering on vehicles and tending to the many animals on the farm over the years. He also enjoyed hanging out with his many friends. One of Rob's friend's children lovingly called him White Wolf. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Good Shepherd Church, 6088 PTH 9A, just south of Selkirk, with Fr. Peter Chorney and Pastor Dave Saude officiating. Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery in Poplar Park, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society for Depression and Manic Depression, 4-1000 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
