HARRY JENSEN On Sunday, December 18, 2005, Harry passed away at the Meadowood Manor at the age of 91 years. Remaining to forever cherish Harry's memory are his beloved wife Phyllis, of 57 years of marriage; sons, Stanley, Gerry (Wendy) and Larry (Barb); grandchildren, Kelly Pageot, Melanie Andrushko, Michael Jensen, Danny Jensen; great-grandchildren, Eric, Malcolm and Tyler; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by sisters, Jean Nault, Elna Wilson and Lily Baker. Harry was born in Winnipeg, December 18, 1914, and then moved to Spearhill, MB, at an early age with his parents. After the war, Harry returned and worked for Winnipeg Supply Fuel as superintendent of their plant until 1960, then was transferred to Winnipeg until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 50 plus years. Harry enjoyed all sports, reading and walking for hours a day. In compliance with Harry's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Special thank you to the nurses and staff of Meadowood Manor, 2nd Floor who made life as comfortable as possible with care and mental support for Harry and the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to The Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2, and The Salvation Army, 500 - 55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8.
