RONEY MARGARET DALE In loving memory of Roney Margaret Dale, a gracious lady of 94 years, who passed away Thursday, December 22, 2005, at S.R.H. Laurentian Site. Devoted and cherished wife of James Munroe Dale who predeceased her in 2001. Beloved and loving mother of John and his wife Marion and of Stewart and his wife Maxine. Much loved grandmother of James Dale and his wife Rachel Mainville-Dale, Robert Dale and his partner Nicole Ottaway, Vanessa Konstantin and her husband Norman and Patricia Jenkins-Dale. Great-grandmother of Adrien Dale, Nicole and Brianna Konstantin and Teagan Jenkins-Dale. Born May 19, 1911, in London, England to Hubert and Margaret (Allison) Spurr. She came to Canada before her second birthday. She grew up, married and raised her children in Winnipeg then lived briefly in Montreal before she and Munroe retired to Victoria, BC. In December 2000, they moved to Garson, ON to be with family. Roney made each person with whom she came into contact feel special and in doing so revealed to each person how special she was. Donations made in her memory to the palliative care ward of Laurentian Hospital would be deeply appreciated. We are grateful to their compassionate staff, and those of St. Joseph's Hospital, who provided gentle care to her and her family during this last, brief illness. A service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, 58 First Avenue, Coniston on Tuesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 705-673-3611.
