JOSEPH MOZDZEN Peacefully, with family by his side, Joe passed away December 20, 2005 at the age of 82 years. Joe will forever remain in the memory of his children, Stephanie (Wayne), Bob (Linda), Ron (Lila), Joanne; daughter-in-law Karen; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry and Mike; sisters, Annie, Sophie; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joe was predeceased by his loving wife Annie; son Cecil; parents Carl and Nellie; brothers, Eddy, Frank and Stanley. Joe was born in Poland and moved to Canada in 1929. He grew up and farmed in Alonsa. He then moved to Teulon in the early 1950s where he farmed, raised his family and worked for the Natural Water Resources Department. Joe enjoyed his family, curling, fishing, hunting and gardening. After he stopped working his own farm, his favorite pastime was traveling the countryside admiring the neighbour's farm sites and looking over the crops. Prior to his passing, Joe lived at Gateway Manor, but his heart was always on the farm. Special thanks to Dr. Graham and the nursing staff of Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital for their special care and support. Funeral service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, on Tuesday, December 27 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Rev. Patricia McMahon will officiate. Interment will follow at Windsor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
