Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES PARENTEAU On Wednesday December 21, 2005 James Daniel Parenteau passed away at the age of 79 years at Winnipegosis Personal care home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Irene (Belhumeur) Parenteau 1997. Dad, Josha St. Pierre, Mom, Virgina. One surviving sister, Catherine Munroe of Duck Bay, MB. Also predeceased by his numerous brothers and sisters. James immediate family are Abie, Linda, Barbara, Agnes, Larry (Sandra), Morris (Louella), Peggy (Fred), Yvette (John). James also had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. James was born December 27, 1925 in Duck Bay. James was first elected to the Duck Bay Community Council in 1969 and held the mayor ship for 12 years. He played a very important role with government and was very instrumental in the success and future developments of the community of Duck Bay. His services spanned from 1969-1985 as a representative of the community people of Duck Bay. On behalf of the people of Duck Bay and the Parenteau family. We would like to take this moment Dad, to thank you and express our deepest and sincere appreciation for your outstanding leadership, dedication, commitment and achievements. You will forever be remembered. We would also like to thank the staff at the Winnipegosis Personal Care Home for their excellent care of our Dad. Services will be conducted by Fr. Jose Cabral at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in Duck Bay. Prayers will be held at the Duck Bay Community Hall on December 26 at 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be December 27 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church.
