EDNA KATHLEEN FOTHERINGHAM Peacefully, on December 23, 2005, Edna passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Edna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, David, (Dianne); grandchildren, Brian (Barb) and Bonnie (Rob), great-granddaughter Madison; her son Allen, (Lorraine) and grandson Darren; her son Jim, (Tina), grandchildren, Jackie (Eric), Chris (Shaunda). She is also survived by her brother Bob Bell (Betty), brother-in-law Ernie Harmon, sisters-in-law Bella Tracy and Nancy McRae and numerous nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husband Thomas Shaw, son Brian Craig, her parents, Kathleen and Joseph Bell and sister Alice Harmon. Born October 13, 1921 and grew up in Winnipeg. She married Tom November 30, 1940. She was a member of No. 1 Legion. Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her home and heart were open to everyone. Her life was her family. Thanks go out to attending paramedics, caring and compassionate staff at Health Sciences Centre Adult Emergency and neighbours Art and Karen Roberts. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna's memory may be made to The Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral service will be held at the Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway, on Thursday, December 29, at 1:00 p.m. with interment at Brookside Cemetery. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211

  • Mrs Fotheringham I was sitting here thinking of Brian the other day, of the friendship we had when we where kids growing up on Winnipeg Avenue the memories of you and your family. 45 years might have passed but you making Brian and myself a bag lunch and we were off to the dump building rafts and exploring.
